It will be fascinating to see (albeit it will take a while):
1) What political position Kwame Kilpatrick next holds, and
2) When he holds it.
I'd put my money on, "Detroit City Council member" and "just as soon as he is eligible to run."
It will also be interesting to see what he does in the next 14 days (the time until he "officially" resigns). He's already given numerous members of his staff (many of whom are relatives) raises, I wonder what else he can do on his way out the door to protect his own and make life interesting for his successor.
