Mamet's a French Name, Right?

If David Mamet is reading this, any thoughts on the latest from "our greatest contemporary philosopher"?

  1. I always pronounce “Mamet” with a French accent. I don't know for sure if it is of French origin, but my four years of French schooling automatically makes my brain pronounce it like those crazy revolutionaries up north. Even if it isn’t French, it sounds better than pronouncing it in English. ¡Vive la france!
