A US Senator from Michigan who does the same thing (multiple times) faces . . . <br /><br />- The SEC investigated the Cohn family for two years regarding the $100M they made steering investors to Madoff (and numerous SEC violations, and if they disclosed that Madoff was a part owner while they were steering funds his way, etc) the latest news is that this complaint may be settled by their "agreeing to refrain from violating certain security laws." (I particularly like the "certain" part . . .)<br /><br />- Autoworkers had to give up their contractual rights and take pay cuts in order for their industry to receive funds as part of a Federal bailout. The Government "had" to fund million dollar bonuses to AIG executives as part of their bail out because to do otherwise would be to violate the sanctity of contract . . . <br /><br />We may be a nation of laws - but sometimes we seem to have only one golden rule . . .<br /><br />CWDAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
