I say,
go for it! If in fact it's a viable plan, it seems like a much better option than limping along, surviving only with infusions of taxpayer money.
The viability of a GM bankruptcy might also give Congress the backbone to give Cerberus the overdue instruction that it needs to live up to its claims of being a turnaround specialist, and require it to
pay for its own mistakes.
Nothing will ever give Congress a backbone or a brain. You can bribe or threaten them, but those are pretty much your only options.
